Objective and policy

The basis for this policy is our desire to provide long-term and lasting solutions regarding environment, health and safety.

Production at Mekoprint is to have the minimum possible impact on both the external environment and the working environment, with due consideration given to technical and financial possibilities. Compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations as well as an open cooperation with the authorities is a matter of course for Mekoprint.

We will endeavour to

• Make sure that all employees act responsibly and in every way comply with all relevant internal and external regulations.
• Evaluate environmental, health and safety effects of all new investments, processes and products.
• Continuously minimize and improve the effects of the production process, if appropriate in cooperation with customers and suppliers. When choosing suppliers, environmental considerations will be important parameters.
• Use the least damaging substances, and seek to minimize the consumption of raw materials, anciliary materials and energy.
• Document our environmental actions - to our customers, suppliers and appropriate authorities. Establish an open communication both internally at Mekoprint and in relation to business partners regarding environmental, health and safety issues.
• Establish specific and measurable environmental targets for everyday work and for the completion of environmental improvements.
• Introduce measures for the prevention of pollution, and maintain contingency plans to be implemented in the event of damage to the environment, health or safety.
